Rad 0
It has been decided that Orb Foundation Week will begin this Sunday, November 5 (no exact time). The event will take place only in Kusanagi, starting with a parade, followed by an airshow, then finishing with the Princess' annual speech. For RP purposes, characters at any location may assume that the events are being televised across all major networks. Lastly, once Orb Foundation Week has begun, the state of RP prohibition on Orb territories will be lifted. This notice will be publicized on RP Discussion in the next day or so, so please be guided accordingly. -------------- Feel free to reply to this thread to coordinate your RP with the other members of Orb, if you so wish. evo_Sieg 0
Hey liubei013, kct, fireminerva, and Jase, what do you say some (but hopefuly all) of us meet up at some pilot's bar or something, just to get ourselves acquainted before the parade starts? What do you say?
liubei013 0
Sure, why not. Probably best to stick with our casual clothes. (Just remember your earpiece sets for security purposes. )
Jase 0
Good idea ill be sure to join you guys and gals.
Rad 0
All right, since you want to start off before the parade, we'll make sure to start the event with pre-parade activities.
fireminerva 0
Coolness, I can't wait. I'll be at the pilot's bar whenever someone starts the RP there.
Rad 0
To minimize inital clutter, we will keep all event-related RPs in the event thread, including your pilot's bar meet-up. In order to do this, my idea is that all of you who would be plainclothes security detail would be holding your final pre-parade briefing at the pilot's bar itself. Would there be any objections to this? For those who will be off-duty, feel free to position your character anywhere.
evo_Sieg 0
I have no objections sir. I'll gladly be of service and attend the pre-parade briefing.
Jase 0
Sounds like fun no objections from me.
kct 0
Nope, although my work can get in the way. I want to hide a GLOCK 18C somewhere.
lynnks 0
Yea, bring weapons, all of you. Just in case anything happens that we can't ignore
kct 0
GLOCK 18C with laser pointer + 33-round mag - check. Benelli M3 Super 90 with laser pointer + removable stake launcher - check. Wait, that would be too heavy for a girl. Edited November 3, 2006 by Guest
Rad 0
As Constantine is not yet done with the list of approved weaponry, no mention of specific models of personal weaponry can be made. Simply say 'handgun' in your RP posts.
evo_Sieg 0
Hmm, I'll have my 2 handguns ready, for the service of ORB! Hehe... Maybe its just the habit of my character, but anyways... Lets enjoy the show! Hope to see you in the pilot's bar! Edited November 3, 2006 by Guest
Valiant 96
kct, she could always use one of those cute bags with wheels to lug that around
Rad 0
Or, one of those 1920's style guitar-case machineguns. In any case, we've got confirmation that a ZAFT delegation will be present (no word yet on a float). We need to assign one or two people for their security detail, who must be in uniform, and will accompany the delegation for the duration of the event. Any takers? Rad 0
Exactly.
kct 0
That is not my field, since I can't be posting that often now. Also, the shotgun that I'm talking about. An M4A1 class weapon makes more sense.
Rad 0
Update: After conferring with Qrioser, the event will begin around 5PM (GMT +8) on Sunday, November 5. The role-play will begin with pre-parade activities, such as assignment of Orb members to event duties, meeting with other faction delegates, setting up the floats, etc. The RP prohibition will be lifted at this point in time. The actual parade, airshow and speech sub-events, will be announced and held at a later date. Also, I am still looking for (a) character/s who will escort the PLANT delegation. fireminerva 0
I'll be an escort for the PLANT delegation.
Rad 0
All right then, fireminerva, be sure to RP in your uniform. You have the option to bring a either a shotgun or a submachinegun in additional to a handgun. More details will be provided during the role-play. fireminerva 0
Hmmmm, tough choice. I think that I'm going to have to go with the shotty. More info on my loadout. I'll be carrying a 12 gauge automatic combat shotgun which holds 6 in the magazine and one in the chamber, my idea for the standard issue shotgun I'll be carrying is based off of the USMC's current shotgun found here http://www.usmcweapons.com/articles/M1014/M1014NF.htm. Also Takashi will be carrying one .45 caliber handgun which will have a clip of 10 rounds. Aside from these weapons he'll, of course, have spare ammo on his person. Rad 0
I would like to remind all of you that no mention of a specific make, model, and caliber of personal weaponry will be allowed in the RP at this point in time. Fireminerva, you may state that your character is carrying a handgun, a shotgun, and extra ammunition for one or both, but otherwise, please refrain from mentioning any specifics. Please edit your post accordingly. Apologies, but this is currently a rule. Edited November 5, 2006 by Guest
kct 0
Nah, you can just go 'a semi-auto shotgun with a collasiple stock that have 6+1 shots', should be enough for most /k/-tards to know what is it. I'm more of a M3 S90 person though (same thing like the M1014 but more traditional). Although I would go for 'a black semi-auto handgun that looks like a box'. Most semi-autos do though >.> . I actually lol'd at the '3 shots do the job of 1', being a gun-tard of sorts myself. But a U.S. Marine did own a bunch of people with only an M9 before ending it with rockets .>" title="" /> .
