Asahi 0
OOC: ; so you want me to fall over and die. I can really feel your hate for me in your text Regardless, i know i cant win this (fairly, anyway). Just so you know, I'm not pissed at you and no, i didn't cheat on purpose (forgot to write that^_^;) Its quite hard to make it fair for you, you can easily say everything i do is modding. So its more a challenge to fight someone less powerful than you, than someone more powerful. Ok, I'll shut up and die IC: Considering the range, the Murasame's beams, indiscriminately fired made Asahi feel the pain. Trying to block one of the beams, it flew past the Impulse's outstretched sword, striking clean through the face of the machine. The following succession would have made Asahi weep, if not for the fact that it was only a game. He released the controls, and watched as the Impulse was promptly thrashed by merely beams. Cataclysmically, the machine's powerplant exploded in spectacular HD graphics, as Asahi was already out of the seat; you wouldn't say he was happy. If Takashi came out of that cockpit with a negative face, Asahi swore he would hit him. Sore losers he could stand, but a sore winner, he couldn't. fireminerva 0
OOC - I'm actually more amused by the camera thing to be quite honest. My OOC's haven't been that nice I know. But as far as my IC text is concerned I'm just dumping a lot of emotion into it because I want Takashi to actually seem like he's in the midst of a battle; so basically I'm gunning for that raw, uncensored emotion. IC - Kitsune leaned back and let his head rest on the cool pilots chair as the game ended. Sure, it was only a game, but he had just taken on the Impulse with a suit that was supposed to be inferior. "I guess that it's the pilot is the one who really makes the difference." Sliding out of the cockpit Kitsune smiled at Asahi. "That was a good match, usually the only challengers I get are kids... and they don't put up too much of a fight." With a careful eye Kitsune regarded his opponent, over a year in field journalism had taught him to pay attention to seemingly random details. "So where are you from friend; I've never seen you around here before."
Asahi 0
"That was a good match, usually the only challengers I get are kids...", Takashi said. Asahi made an action as if he was throwing confetti into the air, with a frown and a gaping hole of a mouth and replied (OOC: That confetti thing is a little hard to explain ) "Lies man! What the f*ck, that match was crap on your part! It must have been a yawn to fight me. You've been practicing, or you're a real ace pilot!" Takashi continued, pointing out that most of his opponents didn't stand well against him. Asahi gritted his teeth behind his tightened lips, Takashi definitely didn't look like an Orb FREE ace. But who knew? He could be. Asahi wasn't frustrated at Takashi, he was frustrated at himself, that he failed so promptly and severely underestimated his enemy. So where are you from friend; I've never seen you around here before. Takashi asked him coolly. "Oh, yeah. I'm a PLANT photographer for that Foundation Week parade thingy. I'm tagging along with the ZAFT retinue here." He replied. Asahi definitely did not want to reveal his military background, to hide his shame from Takashi, but worse if he was some ZAFT-hater. He added hastily "I'm not a coordinator though" he said with his tongue out "I'm an Orb migrant. Thats why I came here. I used to play this all the time. So what are you, Orb FREE force or what?" fireminerva 0
Kitsune nodded, "Yes, but I'm nothing special I haven't even received a commission." Takashi felt bad that his opponent seemed so upset but there wasn't much he could do. The words he had said had been honest and from his heart. "Well, I hope that you've enjoyed your stay here in Orb and that your return trip goes smoothly." With that Kitsune turned and headed out the door bowing his head and waving to Asahi who was now way behind him. The whole way home he kept his head on a swivel, making sure that he wasn't being followed.
Asahi 0
Asahi gave a crooked smile as Takashi said goodbye and walked off. He was nothing special. "My ass." Asahi simply thought. Orb Ace or not, Takashi knew how to play the game, and manners aside, there was never any thrill in fighting someone of less ability. Asahi shoved his hands in his pockets, and started walking out of the arcade. It was definitely not the way to end a day, but losing that battle made Asahi realize that he duly underestimated Takashi, and that rather playing seriously, he was subsequently thrashed for his carelessness. Once again, ZAFT training popped up in his head, and Asahi slapped himself (whilst no one was looking) for being such an idiot.
