Re: Orb Foundation Week: The Parade

Blake walked over to Christoph and sighed as he saw that no one was really listening to his requests to clear a path. He saw that he was being spoken too and his mind snapped back into soldier mode. He walked over and saluted the red coat and looked at the guards that were posted.

"Blake Yoshida, ID number AC-559C. I was sent here as surveillance for the parade itself. I wasn't really aware that the commander was here until my pager went off alerting me to the problem."

With that said Blake leaned up against the wall and sighed as he looked around. He then shook his head as he looked at the ceiling and began to speak once more.

"Seems that no one really wants to listen to us seeing as we're ZAFT soldiers and not Orb. Maybe it's because we're Coordinators and not Naturals...Who really knows? All I know is that as long as we're on Earth and not in a PLANT controlled area we're just gonna look like monsters. Oh, by the way, I have my uniform with me. It's in a room near by so if I need to I can get changed."

With that Blake sighed again and looked back down at the ground. He wouldn't move from there until he was either ordered to or the time came for him to enter the room once again.

"After a bit of rest and once we're sure that you're well enough we'll be heading to the starting point of the parade. I'm VERY SURE Demetrius has been waiting for us there. Just try to rest as much as you can."

"I'll be ok  just need a drink"as he said that the waitress came back."Ok sir heres the Gingerail bottle on the house sir"She said as she handed him the bottle.

As she left Jase turned to Jm and Sieg "Jm who might you be I understand you and Sieg must be friends oh as soon we get in communication with Demetrius lets go I guess".Then he got up and unscrewed the caps a drank a bit from the bottle.

Delfina lowers her salute, and nods slightly. It was true; Delfina had already made a hit with the paparazzi at the space port earlier. “Thank you, and my men will be honored to get a chance to meet you.” Her eyes move to the outfit provided by Sandrilene. It was laid out on the bed in a dry cleaning bag. Delfina casually walks over and holds it up by the hanger unzipping the bag slowly.

It was a ‘cute’ outfit, consisting of a pair of white open toe heels, a form fitting knee length skirt, a white blouse with an outer jacket. Delfina lets out a sigh, and looks over at her uniform. She lets out a smile, while shaking her head. It defiantly was something she’d wear; Delfina turns to the doorway and makes sure Sandrilene had left with her bodyguards. She grabs hold of the curtain and pulls it over covering the area around the bed. Slight rustling can be heard, while Delfina changes into her new outfit.

Minutes later, Delfina emerges from the curtains dressed in her new clothes. They certainly fit her well, and also fit to the curves of her body. It was much like the suit, Delfina wore on her flight down. She looks over at the window against the wall, and looks her over. Keeping her serious expression on, Delfina crosses over to the door, and pulls it open. Her yellow eyes pan the hallway in front of her room, and motions inside. “Everyone, I would like to speak with you inside. Also I would like to introduce someone to you.”

“Vandemar, your responsible to keep this door clear, ill make sure there is a free path all the way to the for the commander.” ordered Christoph.

Ethan nodded, and stood besides the doorway, brushing the back of his hand against there his gun was holstered, making sure it was still there.

After all, if someone knew the Commander was at the Sunshine Cafe, they're probably gonna know she's here as well.

Watching Christoph clear the hallway brought Ethan a weak grin, Christoph was fairly heavily built, and watching him plow through the small crowd, shouting out orders was somewhat entertaining. Plus some people seemed to be totally ignorant, and were ignoring his orders.

Glancing at the door, (still clear), and glancing back at Christoph, he saw the redcoat had met up with another ZAFT soldier in the distance, the same guy who'd left the treatment room not long ago.

He tried to strain his ears to hear what they were saying, but to no avail. And besides, eavesdropping is a little rude.

“Everyone, I would like to speak with you inside. Also I would like to introduce someone to you.” said the Commander.

Ethan glanced briefly at the Commander opening the curtains and leaving the room; Ethan stayed leaning against the wall.

Oho, look who's alive and kicking.

Kitsune nodded, annyoed at having been delegated such a small task.  Even though the ZAFT commander was right Kitsune thought that the ZAFT Soldiers were under estimating how much authority he actually had, and now might be a great time to show them.

Stepping forward Kitsune cleared his throat and yelled, with great authority,

"From this point on this ER is designated a restricted area.  All news crews and civilians who are not here for medical treatment must leave immediately or you will be fined and escorted off hospital grounds."  Though it took about a minute to sink in and there was a lot of grumbling from the press the crowds slowly dispersed; the press and civilians backed off and began to filter outside.

Though he had no authority to order them off hospital grounds Kitsune was satisfied that order in the hospital had been restored.  Turning to the ZAFT soldier Kitsune smiled,

"So, how was that for effective crowd control."  Feeling a little smug Kitsune decided to press another issue, "Now, how about we work on getting you guys some transportation out of here?"

'I've had enough of this.'

Gulping down whatever was left in his can of coffee, he accurately threw it into the bin across the room, as it went into the bin with a silent hushed sound. He walked out of the room, and towards Private Kitsune, his facial expression and his strides almost radiating a commanding aura, rather than the laidback citizen he looked like earlier. He placed his hand on Private Kitsune's shoulder once again. This time, he gripped it tightly, and as he looked into his eyes, he said to him in a dangerously low voice.

"Stand down Private. We are here to help, not to further inflate our presence in this. This is a ZAFT problem, and if they said they'll take over, then they will. We shall help when we are needed, and not poke them with a stick if they need our help like some immature whelp being bored, do you understand me?"

He could almost see anger already rising in Kitsune's face. Before he could say anything however, Zeru had already reacted. He took his his wallet, and from it, produced his FREE Forces ID card, which clearly had stated his rank, and brought it up right where both the redcoat, and the Private himself could see it.

"I'll take full responsibility for the Private's actions, and if there's any requests for assistance, you may come to either me or him. That is all. Now lets all just calm down, forget whatever happened, and get to where she wants us to be at right now."

He said, as he gave both men one last glance, before he turned around, with his hands in his pocket, and walked towards where Delfina was, as she had rallied everyone to the doorway.

"Jm who might you be I understand you and Sieg must be friends oh as soon we get in communication with Demetrius lets go I guess"

"Well... How should I put it...I am a friend of Sieg, me and him met when we attended this seminar in Singapore. I'm also a FREE soldier a leading private to be exact... Unfortunately I just received my papers so I don't have any orders yet. Maybe it's a good thing I don't have any orders yet because it looks to me you can use a hand with this parade." Standing up after Jase

"What now Siegfred? Should we go?" Looking at Siegfred since he's the only person in the group still sitting.

"By the way... Are you feeling okay now?" facing Jase, concerned for Jase's sake.

"We're going already? That was fast.", Siegfred told himself. He then turned to Jase. "If you're already feeling well enough to start walking, then its okay by me. I'll just wait for your approval and we'll be heading out"

Siegfred waits for Jase's reply as he partially slumps back on his seat and looks up at his two commrades already standing. "These guys sure are giddy right now. Heck its the parade day and I haven't seen a float yet! Hmmm, I'm feeling giddy myself, It may just be the coffee... Heck we better get out of here!", Siegfred told himself, his eyes now gazing on the tall, empty plastic cup that once contained his latte.

Doesn't seem like anyone's arrived at all...Maybe they might need to take a longer time, after all. Slightly torn between waiting for any possible ZAFT arrivals and the orders of Delfina. The dividence of his attention to watch out for any trouble made everything seem all the more stressful and tiring to him.

Finally Landis gave up, and paced back to the lift, this time consciously maintaining as dignified and important as a look he could muster in these circumstances while avoiding opposing traffic in the forms of nurses, doctors and the occasional wheelchair-bound patient expertly.

The last thing he expected to see was chaos around her ward, though it should have been the first thing he should have been prepared for, which almost resulted in him slapping his own forehead for his own lethargy and stupidity.

What a mess... Noting that a large percentage of the crowd were either holding on to cameras or microphones or recording devices of some sort, he realised his first failing in his hurry when giving out commands and attempting to balance the importance of any presence of threats as well as making sure all incoming ZAFT personnel knew where they were going: That the little boo-boo their Commander had gotten herself into warranted media attention, mostly unwanted.

"From this point on this ER is designated a restricted area.  All news crews and civilians who are not here for medical treatment must leave immediately or you will be fined and escorted off hospital grounds." He couldn't entirely tell who made that announcement over the din before and neither did he care. As soon as the crowd started to thin, he hurried through to look at the owner of the voice looking as smug as a kid who had found a five-dollar note lying on the pavement on his way home from school.

"So, how was that for effective crowd control...Now, how about we work on getting you guys some transportation out of here?"

Getting arrogant, aren't we, Private? He silently stopped and slowly walked towards them.

"Stand down Private. We are here to help, not to further inflate our presence in this. The one whom he had presumed to be a civilian suddenly spoke up in a voice that almost demanded respect that it seemed like second nature to him. Landis stopped to hear what he had to say. No man can pull this off save for a world-class actor or someone with military bearings. "This is a ZAFT problem, and if they said they'll take over, then they will. We shall help when we are needed, and not poke them with a stick if they need our help like some immature whelp being bored, do you understand me?"

Before any of them could react, the man took out his wallet, and produced an unmistakable Free Forces identification for those at present to see.

"I'll take full responsibility for the Private's actions, and if there's any requests for assistance, you may come to either me or him. That is all. Now lets all just calm down, forget whatever happened, and get to where she wants us to be at right now."

Landis was mildly impressed with the diplomatic actions taken by the man he now know as Zeru Ayanami. There was time to thank him later. For now...

"He's right. Last I recalled, the sand's gone from the top half of the hourglass. I do believe the Commander wants to meet us now." He let a glance of amusement a second longer on Private Kitsune. "Crowd control is good, but I think the top priority is to follow the orders currently."

With that, he headed in, not knowing what other surprises awaited him or whether his fatigued mind could take any more of those.

Kitsune kept a straight face as the man came up beside him, even though his ability to subdue the crowd had been useful this man clearly didn't understand the significance of what was going on.  As he finished and produced his ID card Kitsune grew even more irritated, but even still... rank was rank.

Putting his own wallet back into his pocket Kitsune moved out of the way of the ZAFT soldiers.  From the side he heard some sort of snide remark directed at him, something about his lack of diplomacy and crowd control.  At that moment it seemed to Kitsune that throwing one solid punch would fix all of his problems, or at least the one with the rude commentator.  Taking in a deep breath Kitsune let his anger go and composed himself, it was time to focus on the situation at hand.

Even as he did Kitsune thought about how the day had gone, how until their commander needed to be rushed to the hospital the ZAFT soldiers had completely disregarded him and that when he tried to help he was rebuked and scorned.

Takashi was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't see the medical cart turn the corner and he didn't hear it until one of the cold steel bars slammed into his temple.

Dazed and feel nauseous Kitsune fell backwards and caught himself on the support railing that ran down the length of the hallway.  As the nurse sputtered her apologizes Kitsune waved her off.  Raising a hand to his temple Kitsune wasn't shocked to find blood when he looked at his finger tips.  Slowly he made his way down the hallway to a different treatment room.

Two hours later Kitsune made his way out of the room, now with bandages wrapped around his head and with a small bottle of medication for the pain.  The doctor's orders had been clear and a message had already been sent to Takashi' unit.  For the next few days he'd be off his feet.

"A great end to a long day."  Even his own sarcasm didn't amuse him and Kitsune hailed a cab for the long ride home.

Sandrilene was well aware of the circus that have gathered outside Delfina's room. "I wonder how they got their information so quickly,"she thought. She was seated somewhere near Delfina's room but hidden away from the crowd. There was no need for the press to have a field day knowing that the chairwoman of ZAFT is here, although she suspects that they might already know.

Sandrilene gave a sigh. This was supposed to be a secret trip to Orb to observe the parade. Now, she's going to be revealed to all of the citizens of Orb even before her official swearing in ceramony. "There goes my plan to keep a low profile,"she muttered.

Already Sandrilene could foresee a few problems those old fogeys in the council would throw at her. Visiting Orb secretly, hiring two bodyguards to go along with her, letting the press of Orb have a field day etc. They would find very single detail they can use against her and use it. Luckily, Sandrilene had managed to thought of a plan while waiting for Delfina to change.

"What's taking her so long,"she wondered and was about to send Haylie to go check on her when Heidi ran back from where she has been hiding near the room, away from the crowds and reported, "I believe Commander Schneider is ready and is asking the soldiers to come in the room so that she can introduce you."

"Alright then, I guess we should go now." Sandrilene stood up, smoothed an imaginary crease from her dress, and walked towards Delfina's room, with Heidi in front, and Haylie following behind.

Blake sighed as he heard the commander request that the ZAFT soldiers enter her room and he nodded and stood up away from the wall. He soon turned and entered the room and looked around in hopes that they would be able to leave soon.

"So commander, what's the plan?"

With that Blake found another wall to lean against until he was spoken to or asked a question.

After minutes of going through on what is on the radio, she decided that she have enough. Not having the team leader missing all of sudden is something that the girl is not prepared for. Deciding that she have enough, she is taking some matters into her own hands...until Sergeant Amherst calls her back out of the blue or something.

Putting on the earpiece of the communications equipment on, she unrolls the sleeve, then takes a black blazer and wears the blazer over the collared blouse she was wearing to conceal the wires...or at least do so. She then pinned the mouthpiece to the blazer's collar.

Clicking one of the buttons of the car's radio, she then lifts the microphone, near enough to her lips, while hiding herself from the view of the public. She then decided to try to get in touch with her other 'team mates'.

"OK, I know I'm not in the position to give out orders and such..." the girl said with a rather docile tone. "...but in view of the current situation, we STILL have to stick to the original plan," she added in a resigned tone. "Our main priority is the Princess."

"Nakano out," she continued, before closing the link and hiding everything. She turns the car keys around, shutting power to the systems in the car, before she unlocks the door and got out. The frustration caught up with her so much that she slammed the door.

How the heck these people do things?!

Christoph walked trough the hallway his military boots making a thumping sound for each step he took, the hallway had been successfully cleared. He could se that Landis had made his way back to the commander’s room he stepped up beside Landis and turned around to face him.

“Hallway clear, guards posted at the exit and troughout the hallway, we are ready to leave, sir”

Christoph kept a strict militaristic posture, with his arms close to his body.

Delfina looks around for any sign of paparazzi, and looks at the two soldiers standing in front of her. She lets out a grin, and holds her hand to the doorway. Delfina had to put on her tough façade in order to save face. She looked very rigid opposed to her normal playful attitude. It seems as if something had changed inside of her.

“If you will just step inside… there is someone that wishes to have an audience with you.”

Delfina turns her back to her men, and steps into her room. Her eyes move over to the nearby empty wall. She lets out a smile, knowing it would be a perfect place to stand in wait for the Chairwomen. Delfina straightens his collar, and outer jacket. She was somewhat thankful to Sandrilene for giving her a change in attire.

“Please wait along the wall…She will be arriving any moment.”

"So guys you have a map of where were going?Said Jase.He slipped his hand into the pocket he had the bottle in he pulled it out and drank a bit more.

"If you're already feeling well enough to start walking, then its okay by me. I'll just wait for your approval and we'll be heading out"

"Sieg Am good thanks for asking "said Jase as he got ready to exit pulling out his sunglasses.

"No problem." Seeing his colleague already fetching for his pair of shades it really shows that Jase is really rearing to get out of the cafe now. Siegfred stands up from his chair and fixes his hair a bit. Siegfred notices a lady two tables in front of them that was glancing at him as he sat, probably enamored by his charisma yet again. He moved in front of both Jase and JM while saying, "We'll all be heading out now. Lets get going to the parade!".

Siegfred started walking towards outside while fetching for his shades in his shoulder bag. Pushing the doors outward with one hand he stands in front of the cafe for a while, basking again in the sea air. He puts on his shades and signals again to his friends, "Lets get going!"

The wailing of sirens are suddenly heard all over Kusanagi City and it carried on for a good whole five minutes before dying down gradually. To those who knew the different sounds of the siren either switched on their radio or turned on their television to the news channel. Some received calls from relatives or friends to do the same, shopkeepers turned up the volume of their television consoles and hushed their patrons down.

Alvielle Torren watched the small screen in the limo as the vehicle made a u-turn back to her estate. She already had received the news before the sirens sounded and was advised to return to where it might be safer. All in Kusanagi city watched or listened when the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Mr. N. Flusto tapped the microphone to gather attention.

"Just an hour ago, we received news that a rather large group of participants in the parade have shown symptoms of the common gastric flu. All have been hospitalised, some are put under intensive care while the others are kept in quarantine. The ministry has instructed the hospitals to take all the necessary infection control precautions. As such, the parade and all other festivities are cancelled.

It is possibly due to food contamination as all the participants' meals are supplied by one supplier. Research is being carried out to determine which strand of virus caused the symptoms. Both Natural and Coordinator participants showed signs of having the virus. But so far, only the parade participants have reported sick and we hope it has not spread beyond the grounds.

Yet as it might be easily spread, we advise all in Kusanagi City to return home and avoid crowded places. Refrain from intimate contact with people who show the following symptoms, nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea, chills and muscle aches. If you think you have any of the above symptoms, please proceed to the nearest hospital to have yourself diagnosed.

The parade organisers regret that such an incident could occur and will investigate the case thoroughly with the police. It is a..."

Alvielle turned her attention to Adrian, "What about the PLANT representative who was hospitalised?"

Adrian said, "She was not diagnosed with the same virus and was cleared to leave. I have also arranged for a transport as you instructed,  to drive them to the private shuttle where they will leave for PLANT. All on duty were told to return to their homes and wait for further assignments." Alvielle acknowledged the report by a nod after which she sighed and frowned. In all the years that Orb had its Foundation Week, this was the first time it happened in history. Perhaps this was a sign of more dreadful things to come.

"Lets get going!"

But something suddenly wasn't right. Siegfred thought it was just a phantom ringing in his ears but it seemed like every ambulance in ORB was running in the city. Not just ambulances, heck even police vehicles and some firetrucks are going around.

"Something isn't right here." The festive air that was present a few hours ago was slowly dying to the sound of the sirens wailing all around them. This meant only one thing, something really isn't right. Then he noticed that the projector screen set up near the plaza where the cafe was across the street was starting to air something. Then image of the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Mr. N. Flusto went on air.

"Guys you better see this." The speakers set up for the parade was now airing Mr. Flusto's announcement. Siegfred took off his shades to get a better view. Then he and his comrades  listened attentively. Gastric flu has afflicted a sizable number of participants of the parade, natural and coordinator alike. Sabotage or terrorism suddenly went into Sieg's mind but he tried his best to think otherwise. Then he heard that everyone was advised to go home.

"Oh heck, there goes the festivities...", said Sieg. Then the radio crackled. He heard a message being relayed from HQ. All personnel on duty are also advised to return to their homes and wait for further assignments. "Jeebuis! What a way to spoil an otherwise good day!" Sieg then turned towards his comrades, "Looks like we'll all be heading home. Hey, do you guys fancy staying over at my house for a while, while further assignments are still to be given out? Perhaps we could still salvage a bit of good times from this day.", Sieg asked his friends. "I just got one of those new gaming consoles a couple of days ago!", he teased them to come with him. "But first I'll have to go get my car. So are you guys game?"

"But first I'll have to go get my car. So are you guys game?"

I'm game, besides I've got nothing more to do today! looking at Siegfred

"Wait a minute... I gotta leave a message for my folks." Gets his cell phone from his pocket and calls home telling the machine where he is and where he is going.

"Hey Jase! Are coming with us to Sieg's house to hang-out?" Noticing that Jase was still wearing his sunglasses, looking like he is rearing to go out.

"Where are you parked by the way? Want me to drive you there?" turning his attention to Siegfred "My car's just outside."

"Whoa! I gotta put some stuff in the trunk of my car. When you're ready to go I'll just be by my car.

JM then headed for his tricked out sports sedan. Even though its outside had an awesome paint-job and was sporting a car show shine, if you peer inside the tinted window it looks like a major battle was fought inside it. Dirty clothes were everywhere, books were lying all around, you wouldn't even see the car's floor mats because of the clutter. As JM opened the door to his car...

"It looks like a Destroy was in here..." he thought to himself

JM then started to pack all that stuff inside his car's trunk. After 2 minutes of warp-speed cleaning JM can finally see his car's seats.

"Boy... They sure are taking their sweet time in there."Wiping sweat from his forehead while looking at Siegfred and Jase still inside the Cafe'. "Better continue cleaning up... It would be kinda embarrassing for your superior officer to see the inside of my car looking like it got hit by a Tannhäuserr."

Delfina eagerly waits for Sandrilene to enter the doorway; she leans against the wall and looks down at the outfit provided to her. She rubs her hand against her temple and exhales softly.  It had already been a few minutes, and Delfina was starting to lose patience. She crosses her arms and lets out a sigh. “What is taking the chairwomen so long to arrive?”

Outside the Hospital, a helicopter with Zaft logos makes a landing on the rooftop helipad. It was a standard commercial helicopter with capacity to hold six people comfortably. An extra amount could be fitted in if the situation demanded. The pilot flips a few switches, and looks behind his seat. The door slides open and a pair of soldiers leap onto the pad and dash to the doorway. Their orders were to secure Delfina and leave for the space port.

Delfina lets out a growl, and looks at the doorway. “What’s taking her so long?” She turns to her entourage, and examines their attire. Delfina rolls her eyes, and steps off from the wall. She eases her way to the window, and looks outside. In the distance, lights belonging to police, and medical vehicles could be seen. Something was going on out of the ordinary near the parade plaza. Even with her enhanced vision, Delfina could only make out the lights and nothing more. The doors let out a light clicking noise, and quickly open. Delfina turns over to spot the two Zaft soldiers staring at her.

The leader lets out a salute, “Commander Schneider, our orders are to escort you to the Shuttle port, you’re leaving for Plant immediately.” He lowers his salute, and motions for everyone to exit the room.

Delfina puts her hands against her hips, and lets out a small laugh. “You have to be kidding me, go back to plant? What the hell are you talking about?” Her feisty and domineering traits were starting to surface again.

The leader’s back stiffens a bit making him stand up higher then normal. “It seems that there has been a biological attack on the parade grounds, a form of gastric flu has been spread throughout Kusanagi. We don’t know the details of the situation, but the Orb parliament has decided that we get our VIPs out of Orb as soon as possible. That includes you Secretary Commander Schneider.”

Delfina looks over at the soldier and shakes her head in disgust. “Wait a minute; did you already evacuate Chairwomen Apfelsine to the space port?” She crosses her arms, and stares intently at the soldier. A fire could be seen in her fearless eyes. Delfina was completely different from before, she didn’t even give the soldier time to respond. “So, give me an answer already?”

The leader gulps, and looks to his side. “We currently have no recollection that the chairwomen was in Orb. Are you sure Chairwomen Apfelsine is here at the hospital?”

Delfina takes a step forward to the soldier and throws her arm to the side. “Of course, why would I make something this serious up? She’s somewhere here, and I know that for a fact.”

The leader touches the earpiece communicator and speaks slowly. “This extraction team to Condor, we seem to have another VIP in the hospital, Commander Schneider has told me Chairwomen Apfelsine is here as well, please advise.”

Condor, the call sign for the embassy’s control room quickly responds to the call from the extraction team. A feeling of shock overwhelmed the embassy staff, it was disturbing that the chairwoman managed to come into Orb unnoticed. “Extraction Team continue with the mission, get Schneider to the Space port, we’ll contact Plant to confirm.”

The leader lowers his hand and motions over. “My orders are to evacuate you and your staff! We have a helicopter on the rooftop helipad, so let’s not waste any more time.” The subordinate solider steps outside the room, and looks left to right. The hospital staff stood in shock at the urgency of the Zaft solider. It was almost like this situation was being treated as a wartime scenario.

Delfina moves her hand through her hair and lets out a small grin. She turns to those who were inside the room with her. “You heard the man, let’s get out of here.” Delfina walks over, and grabs the bag containing her uniform. She crosses out of the doorway and into the hallway.

The leader looks at the others inside the room, and motions over. “Lets go, we’re not going to be here all day!”

He then saw JM"JM hey do we take all our cars or just one"Said as he slipped the extra battery into his cellphone.

He grinned as he stood casually on the doorway, and saluted to the Commander and the other higher-ranking officers in the room. He didn't really like initiating it to younger soldiers, since he valued experience and age over everything else. Then again, courtesy was courtesy. Someone had to swallow his pride. As he stood at ease, with his hands behind his back by the doorway, he said out aloud.

"I hope to see you again in a... Much less distressing situation."

Hinting at both 2 "situations"; The Battlefield, or another crisis.

"I'll be needing a ride to my car." Seeing that Jase went of to somewhere he asked JM, "Hmmm, is your car ready JM?" Seeing that he was rummaging through the insides of his car hurriedly Sieg waited for JM to finish tidying up his car. "Your car looks fine, by the way. Is this the turbo-equipped one?" Peering into the interior, "Leather seats... You got this one pretty loaded JM, nice... So its safe to presume the mobile suit will also come with leather seats as well?" Siegfred jokingly said.

Then Jase comes in and throws a question at JM. "I'll be riding with JM in his car as we go and get my car. You could follow us in your jeep and when I get to my car we'll make a convoy to my house. How does that sound?", Siegfred suggested. "...and is your car ready yet JM?" Sieg gives JM a grin as Sieg waited.

Geez...Can't we ever stay in one place anymore? Irritation, fatigue and bemusement all seemed to surge up within, each threatening to take over. Instead, Landis maintained as calm a countenance as he could. It would not look good on his record if he did not rein in his temper here, definitely not in front of the Commander or any ORB military personnel for that matter.

But a helicopter? Although it seemed just moments ago that he was a little paranoid about assassins, Landis decided that these ZAFT people took 'paranoia' to greater heights he would never have dreamed of seeing.

And to fit the whole lot of us...There's going to be a little excitement going on with the civilians down there...[i/] He sighed and ran a hand through his tousled hair exasperatedly, though it did nothing to tame it. Nothing ever did.

"This day just won't end..."

“You heard the man, let’s get out of here.” Delfina Schneider was, as always, seemingly in control of the situation. The look on the soldier's face had been priceless when she chided him, but even that served little to cheer the Officer up.

“Lets go, we’re not going to be here all day!”

"Yes Ma'am." He spoke in the most attentive voice he could muster, though his enthusiasm with the salute was half-hearted at best. They were finally going back, and even though Landis knew that the repercussions of the tiny fracas they were involved in that greeted them won't be anything good, at least they were away from ORB...and back in familiar territory.

"Let's go, then..." He repeated for effect, and turned to follow her out of the room, throwing a lazy half-smile and a wave at Zeru Ayanami.
