Alex continued to sip his warm coffee as he sat upstairs in the Liberty Hotel's relaxing lounge overlooking out towards the sea. I wonder when is the parade starting.......I have been sitting here for quite a long time....he thought as he put down his cup of coffee and picked up a newspaper on the table. He started reading the headlines which said about the coming parade and other aspects of the parade liked the route and countries involved.hmmmm......PLANTS is also joining this parade.....thats good I guess, to repair relationships and strengthen it. I suppose this would prevent war from breaking out again.he thought as he continued to read the newspaper.

"All seems to be good here, we better get inside and have some coffee.",

"Oh ok"Jase said having had his picture taken. The sight which also attracted Jase's and Mr.Correa's was the beautiful Zaft commander which seemed a few years short of a commander.

Jase and Mr.Correa walked in to see the coffee shop almost completely full so Jase looked around for a table a finally spotted one at the back near a window"Psst let move back there open table"said as he motioned to a table. He and Mr.Correa sat down "Phew got from what I see to be the last table"said just about when the waitress walked over.

"Hello Gentlemen what can I get you this fine morning "said a woman who look to be in her early thirds.

"Oh I'll take a bagel with creme cheese and coffee "said as he looked over to Mr.Correa.

"And you sir what may I get you"said the waitress talking now only to Mr.Correa.

After the shuttle's arrival in Orb, Brian had gone about his business in the embassy. As part of the official ZAFT entourage, he had received a standard sidearm as Commander Katsuki had said they would. He had also been issued a special cell-phone since he was supposed to be escorting Commander Schneider. It had a special number that only PLANT embassy officials and Orb diplomatic officials knew. After all, it wouldn't do to have some random civilian call him out of the blue. Brian had his own Orb cell phone, but it was back at the family house, and he wasn't up to going there just yet. After receiving these items, Brian had gotten himself a cup of coffee and was now staring out an embassy window at the city. It had been a only been a few weeks ago that he was happily wandering the city with friends, wondering what they would blow their spare cash on next. Now he was back, but as a foreign soldier. "And," he thought with a grin, "no spare cash this time." Jokes aside, it was an interesting feeling that Brian, even years after the experience, wouldn't be able to properly describe.

He stood at the window, not particularly in any rush. He'd be notified when the float was ready to go, so he had time. Or so he thought. A sharp beep and a vibrating motion in his pocket woke him from his reverie. Pulling the phone out quickly, he quickly scanned the display, which indicated an urgent message. The number wasn't familiar, though the first three numbers indicated it was someone else from ZAFT. Frowning slightly, he checked the message.

"Meet Comm. Schneider at Kusanagi Sunshine Coffee Shop. Comm. Schneider will issue further orders there. Proceed ASAP.

- Comm. Ishima"

Brian briefly considered his new orders and potential options. "Well, no time to waste. The embassy's a pretty busy building. I should be able to grab a taxi or something from the motor pool."

He walked down to the street level, setting himself a brisk pace that was faster than he usually preferred. He was there for only a few seconds before, sure enough, a taxi pulled up and deposited some minor embassy worker. Nodding a hello to the man, he turned his attention to the cab driver before he found another fare. He hopped into the backseat as he gave the driver instructions.

"I need to get to the Kusanagi Sunshine Coffee Shop post haste. There's an extra five bucks if you can do it in ten minutes."

Having lived in Orb, Brian knew enough to know that the time limit was possible and that the cash incentive should be enough to get the driver to shoot for it. He didn't like the call for an unexpected rendezvous and he wanted to figure out what was going on. His calculations were confirmed when the driver gave an enthusiastic affirmative and shot off faster than he probably should have. Brian barely had time to fasten the seatbelt before the taxi began twisting and turning down the roads of Kusanagi. Brian gained renewed appreciation for the restraint of the seatbelt during the course of the ride, and his head was nearly spinning when they pulled up to the coffee shop nearly eight and a half minutes later.

His hand trembling ever so slightly, Brian handed over the fare plus the extra which he'd promised and stepped out of the cab. He walked onto the curb and stood still for a moment, pulling himself together and banishing any thought of motion sickness. The trick worked, and Brian scanned for the commander with his senses sharp. Delfina stood out slightly, with people taking pictures and whatnot, so Brian picked her out with no trouble. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, so Brian couldn't help but wonder what the problem was. He walked over in her direction, putting on his most formal face for this public forum.

Jase and Sieg entered the coffee shop. Seeing that it was full of people, they started to look for the elusive empty table.

"Psst, lets move back there to open table."

"This kid has good eyes. I didn't see that one.", Sieg told himself.

"Phew, got from what I see is the last table"

Siegfred breathed a sigh of relief. He though that they would run-out of seats in the cafe. A waitress came in and got Jase's order, then asked for his as well.

"I'll have a Mocha Frappucino, the largest size you have. And oh, better make those two on-the-go. Give us the receipt as well when the order comes so we can pay-up as soon as it arrives"

"Ok Sir, I'll be back with your orders shortly.", said the waitress.

"Jase, we better have our coffees while we're i the parade. I presume we'll fit into the crowd better, what do you think?"

Just then a voice crackles through the com link.

"Everyone, sitrep.", Sergeant Demetrius' voice hails them.

Siegfred sends a reply, pushing his earpiece ever so slightly, so as not to make anybody in the cafe suspicious. He made it look like he was sweeping the hair near his ear backwards.

"Sergeant Demetrius, Private Trusdale and I are at least 5 to 10 minutes from the start of the parade area. Uhmm, we are currently in the Kusanagi Sunshine Cafe. We'll be heading to the parade's staging area as soon as we get our coffees, is that ok?

Then Siegfred looked in front of him. Just over Jase's shoulder he saw the guy who hurriedly went into the cafe. The one who parked the blue sports sedan out front. He seems to be familiar... Now he remembers, he's JM, an acquaintance of his that he got to know in a programming conference held a few months back in Singapore. He was going to catch his attention, Sieg's just waiting for the sitrep conversation to wrap up.

Delfina ignores the stares from the local citizens of Kusanagi and continues into the Kusanagi Sunshine Coffee shop. It was packed, due to the parade creating a lot of hype and excitement for its citizens. Television crews, were recording and reporting on the amount of people swarming the Sennet Circle Plaza. Delfina holds her head high, and pulls her hat over her head. Trying to keep as formal as possible, she walks toward the countertop. It was unlikely for a Zaft soldier to come into the coffeeshop, but not unusual. All due to the Plant Embassy opening up shortly after the end of the second war. Zaft soldiers, would sometines but in low numbers be spotted across Orb. Mainly those would be on lunch break, or escorting a dignitary.

Delfina approaches the counter top. It was a polished marble counter top, and was expertly crafted. The college student behind the divider lets out a smile and greets his customer from the Zaft Embassy. "Hello, what can I get for you ma'am?" The College student was cordial, and very polite. Although it was his job to do those things, or else no-one would buy coffee. Delfina returns with a smile of her own, and looks up at the menu. Her eyes move left to right and analyzes the available flavors and blends. She holds her finger to her lips, and continues to look at two different types. "Should I pick Mocha, or Vanilla?"

The college student puts his hands on his register and taps his finger impatiently. Even though she was from Plant it was obvious to him everyone was alike regardless of being a natural or coordinator. They all took their time and made his day miserable as ever. A line started to form behind Delfina, and it would mean more work for him to accomplish. "Okay, I've come to a decision!" Delfina lowers her hand, and points to the small menu taped beside his register. "I'll have a frosted Vanilla Cappichino."

The college student smiles to himself, and nods. "One Vanilla Frosted Cappie, comming right up. It will come out to..." It was a bit pricey for the frosted cappie, but Kusanagi Sunshine was a prestigious coffee shop. Delfina pulls her credit card from her small purse and hands it over. The College student runs the card through and hands it back to her. Delfina grabs her receipt from the college worker, and walks over to an empty booth by the window. Delfina looks at her wrist watch and rests her head on her Palm. She stares outside the window, and pulls out her phone. No messages... Delfina wasn't shocked about it, but it would have been nice to receive a call from either the Orb Parliament or from a member of her entourage. She quietly waits for her iced drink to be delievered to her.[/align]

Christoph was a bit annoyed with the confusing orders to meet up with the rest of the ZAFT forces in a local café, but he kept his cool as he stood some distance behind Landis, his posture was strict and respectful.

Christoph heard Landis reply and stepped up beside Landis.

“Sir, we should get going as fast as possible, Ill accompany you, Sir.”

Christoph kept constant eye contact with Landis as he awaited a answer.

Ooc: sorry for the short post, broken hand.

"Hmm... Whoa that client was loaded with cash... Hello new turbocharger! Hehehe!" JM thought while counting his newly earned money.

After counting his money JM sat back and started to people watch, his third favorite pastime next to mech sims and driving recklessly...

"Hey that chick ZAFT officer is in the counter... Man! She's kinda cute." JM thought.

After looking around and noticing that everyone was in such in a nice mood JM now realized that today was the day of the ORB foundation week parade. He totally forgot about it.

"Oh man! I totally forgot about the parade. So that's why everybody's so cheery and hyped up!" Jm said smacking his forehead in disbelief.

Jm then noticed that the two "partners" were going to the vacant table near him. JM then realized that one of the guys was an acquaintance of his from singapore.

"What was his name again? Hmm... Ah I remember! It's Siegfred! Wait-a-minute! Isn't he a computer programmer?"  JM remembering the seminar in Singapore where he met him.

JM was about to call out to Siegfred when he started to fuss with his hair. JM wasn't an idiot when it comes to communication devices noticing the way he's touching his ear while attempting to make it look like he's fixing his hair.

"Hmm... He's talking to somebody. Maybe he's one of those undercover agents? Wait! That couldn't be right. Siegfred's a computer programmer! What's he doing as an udercover agent. Hmm... I wonder how I can get his attention. Maybe I can get some answers... Hey I got it!" thought JM retrieving his LED flashlight key chain and started to flash it in Siegfred's eyes

"Hope he notices me..." said JM.

Landis turned, and almost grinned at how stiff (a personal opinion of his that would never change unless he got to know the Pilot Officer better) the soldier behind him looked. Then again, most soldiers always stuck to the rules, whether they really liked it or not.

Well, at least there are much stiffer personnel than him, and at least he looks dependable in case any 'unforeseen circumstances' crop up. Maintaining the eye contact, Landis simply nodded. He did not need the indication from his merry ringtone to know who had contacted him, since the very person has already told him face to face.

"We'll head there as well, then..." Hardly had he finished speaking, Landis watched from the corner of his eye as another soldier exited the embassy as though a pack of hyenas was hot on his tail. "Come on." He beckoned to the Flight Officer and walked with an elegant haste, once again displaying the slight devil-may-care attitude he was notorious for among his comrades back in Martius. Certain that the latter would follow him, he quickly flagged a taxi and got in without as much a word to the person following.

"Kusanagi Sunshine Coffee Shop...On the double. Ten minutes." Without even waiting for any kind of explanation on how difficult the short trip might be or whether the driver even knew how to arrive at the destination, Landis imperiously threw a fifty-dollar note in front and grinned at the astounded face of the driver. "Oh, and keep any change you get. Remember...Ten minutes. Even better if you can get us there in five."

The driver nodded fervently and no sooner had he fasten his seatbelt, the little yellow vehicle zipped down the streets like a gazelle high on drug-laden grass. A smirk appeared on his face, but vanished as quickly as it came. It was most certainly an interesting start to the visit, after all. If anything, going to meet the Commander herself in person and doing so in a possibly madcap taxi ride absorbed the disappointment at having been unable to be part of the float due to "an unfortunate accident".

With that he leaned back into his seat and turned to his companion. "By the way, don't call me sir. Exel or Landis will do. Who might you be? I don't believe we've met."

The radio headset's frequencies constantly sending out either commands or some overly-random chat over the airwaves, probably everyone was more than just getting hyped for the day. Among few of the news and rumours spread over the frequencies is that PLANT's float might not be coming to the parade. She dare not to make out about what could have happened, but she continued leaning and closed her eyes for a rest, until...

"Everyone, sitrep."

The crackle from the radio's earpiece woke her up, in way enough to make her almost jump out of the sport seats of the sedan. She almost bumped her head on the windows when doing so.

Remind myself not to laze off on duties...

Pulling the seat straight, she then looked around to make sure no one was around. Her eyes scanned around for possible obstructions, although there was none right now.

Pulling some of her hair on the left to the back, she softly pressed the earpiece with another finger. It was easier for her, since no one would really care what a person is doing in a car, unless they are a couple happened to be having their round of hijinks. Then THAT would be something everyone would at least see, before to the blushes of the couple. It is something that she have heard from her 'girl friends' back in school. They might have done it too, something she DOES NOT want to know, especially with having to avoid a girl that actually liked her at that time.

"Erm....well, it is all clear right now, except that everyone was only waiting for the parade to start," she replied to Sergeant Amherst. "Thing is, I heard PLANT's float might not be coming here after all over the airwaves, I don't know is it true or not," she continued with a rather serious tone.

"I will be moving off a bit once the parade starts. Sergeant Nakano, out."

"Hello sir's here is your order's"placing the coffee's in front of both Jase and Mr.Correa.

"Sir's it will be $15"Said the waitress to the men .Jase pulled out his wallet and gave her the cash"Here ya go miss"said as he put his wallet away.

As she left he noticed a man shining a laser point at Mr.Correa at first he thought it was a laser sigh but then calmed down.

"Seems like that man knows you Sergeant Correa"Said as he sipped his coffee

He took another leisurely puff on his cigarette, as he rested on a lamp post nearby the coffeeshop. He listened to the communications chatter, and observed the coffeeshop inhabitants, and the ones nearby. Clearly, there might be something wrong with troop deployment. Too many security forces are in the same area. Then again, all of them were possibly on stand-by, rather than being on or off duty. He pondered on the destruction of the PLANT float, and thought of a few possibilities that might happen later on.

He put out the cigarette butt on the metallic cap of a nearby trash bin, as he made it back into the coffeeshop to order a Ven-tee sized coffee. He couldn't put a finger as to why he didn't do so in the first place. Then again, he hadn't had much sleep the past few days. He sighed, as he took a sip of the coffee, and turned on his receiver. Discreetly, he talked into it.

"Seems that there are plenty of us near the coffeeshop... anyway, there might be a possibility that the PLANT's float was destroyed, due to the reason they'd have to share the same Float as the Princess... That might be easier for anyone to take them down. 2 birds with one stone...

Demetrius listened first to Sergeant Nakano's response and thought about it for a moment.  He walked over to the supervisor and asked, "Excuse me, I heard that something happened to PLANT's float?"

"Uh, yeah, seems it was damaged and they couldn't bring it here from Carpentaria on time.  I didn't get specifics but I just heard that the PLANT rep will be accompanying the Princess in her float," the supervisor replied.

Demetrius nodded his thanks as he walked away to listen to Sergeant Correa's sitrep.  He thought for a moment and then replied, "Sergeant Correa, that is fine.  However, once you and Private Trusdale are done, don't come directly to the parade's staging area.  Proceed to move near the area close to where the crowd is forming."

He also added, "Oh, everyone, it seems that the PLANT's Representative will be accompanying the Princess.  Remain alert, just in case any of you happen to run into the Rep's own security detail.  Also, contact each other via last names only, no rank.  Amherst out."

Finally Takashi couldn't take it any more.  Dropping his radio frequency and cellphone number with the guard at the gate Kitsune got back in his car and headed for the parade route, with any luck he might be able to find the delegates before the parade started.  Cruising through the city Kitsune was glad that he was in the Orb Military, bypassing the checkpoints let him make it to the parade route in half the time it would have taken should he have had to go around them.

As he drove he scanned the radio in his car and finally picked up the frequency that FREE had assigned for the day.  Finally he honed in on what he had hoped to hear and pulled up to the Kusanagi Sunshine Cafe.

A few seconds after Sieg sends the message in the radio the cute waitress who took their order came with their coffees. He was about to take his wallet out when Private Trusdale paid the tab just as the order arrived. Its nice of him to do so, making Sieg feel more comfortable with his comrade.

"Thank you miss. ", Siegfred said, giving a slight 'seductive' look he's known for. It never fails to get the girls' attention.

"I owe you one Jase. What do you say we...." Siegfred was cut-off when what seemed to be a laser pointer suddenly had him as a target. Judging from the intensity of the beam it didn't seem to be a weapons-class light, but it alarmed him pretty well, though he kept this to himself as to not provoke any commotion in the cafe.

"Seems like that man knows you Sergeant Correa." "So it seems Jase. I wonder who that guy is... Wait a minute..."

Siegfred traced the beam to its source, which was the guy who rushed into the cafe earlier from the blue sports sedan, the same guy whom Siegfred recognized as someone he knew from somewhere. He tried his best to remember the guy.

"Hey there! JM, isn't it? You seem to be alone there, why don't you join us here in this table?", Siegfred said to hail JM from the other table. As he waited for JM's reply the receiver continued to crackle with the replies of his 'teammates' but now it was Demetrius' voice on the air.

"Sergeant Correa, that is fine.  However, once you and Private Trusdale are done, don't come directly to the parade's staging area.  Proceed to move near the area close to where the crowd is forming. Oh, everyone, it seems that the PLANT's Representative will be accompanying the Princess.  Remain alert, just in case any of you happen to run into the Rep's own security detail.  Also, contact each other via last names only, no rank.  Amherst out."

"Roger that. We'll be proceeding to the crowd shortly.", Siegfred replied on the radio. "You better start calling me Correa more often while we're outside Jase, team leader's orders, hehe.... I'm just going to talk with JM for a sec, then we'll be heading out soon afterwards, is that ok?"

"By the way, don't call me sir. Exel or Landis will do. Who might you be? I don't believe we've met."

Christoph had sat down beside Landis in the taxi; he adjusted his uniform as it had slid upwards when he sat down in the taxi, he ran a hand trough his hair as the taxi had started to move, the beautiful city landscape of Kusangi reflected in his ice blue eyes as the taxi made its way to the café.

“Pilot Officer Von Crailsheim, it’s a pleasure to get acquainted, Landis, Sir”

Christoph let a soft smile run across his lips.

Seems like a down to earth person, or a up to PLANTS person, Christoph laughed for himself.

Landis looked on as Officer von Crailshelm introduced himself. It wasn't really what he wanted, since he preferred everything to sound less formal. Calling someone-regardless of what rank he is-by his surname sounded stiff for him, but it would have to do.

The taxi came to a sudden stop, jolting him out of his thoughts and possibly from his seat had he not taken extra precaution to tighten the seatbelt. Before he could lean forward and ask what had stopped the driver in his tracks, the latter pointed towards the left window. Landis looked.

The Kusanagi Sunshine Cafe looked quite an exquisite haunt for the rich and the famous, but the clothing and demeanour of some patrons had Landis reviewing his judgement. It was large for a cafe and the pilot officer wondered if he could ever be able to find the Commander at all. Aside from that, he felt somewhat uncomfortable wearing the uniform in a public place. This was certainly no territory of the E.A, but a sudden movement might cause panic, especially if there were observant people who knew that the slight bulge at his hips was not due to a lack of exercise.

"Let's go, von Crailshelm." He threw a generous tip to the surprised driver, unfastened his seatbelt and swung the door open in crude fashion. He was hardly one for elegance, noting that though it was the reason for his efficiency in handling issues, it was also a key factor for his tiny group of friends.

Stepping out, he grinned the moment he followed the trail left by more than several eyes (male, no doubt) to a certain table-and a certain woman.

"I think we found her." He waved to the Commander as the two of them approached her table.

Christoph flung up the taxis door with such a force that a loud metal sound ran trough the air as the door exceeded its bending limitations, he ran in a crouching posture behind Landis, scanning trough the nearby buildings for any reflections that the shooters rifle might leave.

Christoph moved in close by Landis acting like a human shield protecting his superior officer with his life, his red uniform waved in the soft breeze that swept across the streets he moved a hand trough his hair removing any hair that might be a distraction, he slid his hands underneath his uniforms back and un strapped two chrome plated handguns, they were in a perfect condition, spotless and well served, they could easily double as hand mirrors.

He noticed that Landis had seen something of importance in the distance, he looked over where Landis had focused his eyes.

The café, we better get moving.[i/]

Christoph kept close to Landis with both his guns hidden underneath his long coat as they advanced, he wouldn’t need any unnecessary attention to his guns, but the situation could easily spin out of control so he kept the guns at standby in his firm grip.

JM's trick with the LED flashlight had worked as he had caught Siefred's attention. He seems to be finished with his conversation with his partner. His partner then signalled Siegfred as to where the light was coming from.

"Oh man I thought Siegfred was gay! Hehehe... Better not tell him."

As Siegfred was looking at him now JM stood up and headed for him.

"Hey Siegfred! It's been a long time! How have you been?" bumping fists with Siegfred.

JM swung by the table where Jase and Sieg were, then Siegfred returned JM's move of bumping fists. Siegfred turned to Jase to introduce his friend."Jase this is JM Mendoza, JM for short, a friend of mine from Singapore." Siegfred then turned his attention to JM again.

"How's it going lately? You seem to be rather busy this time even though its a holiday today,", Siegfred gave JM a rather slightly irritated look, "and what was that laser light antic all about?", while nudging JM with his shoulder. "Would you like to take a seat with us, even just for a sec?"

Jase had decided to let the men talk but then he felt the urge to use the restrooms.

"Um I'll be right back got to use the washroom"he got up and walked into the washroom.

Linite walked slowly through the crowded streets of Kusanagi, observing everyone who lined the streets. Feeling a sudden light breeze, she pulled her light jacket further around her shoulders.

I hope it doesn’t get cold, I’m really not dressed for that…” Linite thought as she looked down at her pale green, knee-length skirt, wishing that she was in her EA uniform. She knew that she couldn’t have worn it, because the EA wasn’t formally attending the event. Still she sighed.

Looking to her right, Linite saw a small building, above which was a sign that indicated that is was a café.

Kusanagi Sunshine Coffee Shop…” Linite repeated quietly to herself.

Linite spotted a number of ZAFT members lingering around the small coffee shop.

Now why on earth would they choose to assemble there of all places?” she thought. Deciding at that moment that she herself could use a drink, Linite walked over to the cafe.

She opened the door to quite a large crowd of coffee-drinkers, among which were some ZAFT members like the ones she had seen outside. Linite pondered her previous question again as she stepped up to the counter.

Ah…yes, I’ll just have a coffee, please. Medium.” she said to the waitress. She slipped the payment out from the pocket in her jacket and was handed her change and coffee. Linite walked to one of the only vacant tables, a small one in the back corner of the shop. She sat down and poured some cream into her drink. She took a sip.

Hmm…I haven’t seen anyone here that I recognize. I wonder if any other EA members have decided to come watch the parade…” She wondered as she observed the people around her.

Suddenly Linite’s cell phone rang, and the loud ring tone startled her, so much that she stood up quickly, and bumped the table. Her coffee flew off the table and spilled all over the bottom of her skirt. The cell phone stopped ringing.

Damn it!” She cursed quietly to herself. Linite looked around to find a sink or something with running water that she could get to before the coffee started to stain. She saw the only source of water she could spot, a vase with water and a flower in it two tables away.

She moved quickly to the table and paused to see if anyone was looking.

All clear” She grabbed the vase and moved back to her table. There she sat down, grabbed her napkin, dabbed it in the water and frantically started scrubbing away at the coffee spill on her skirt. But it was too late; the coffee had already begun to stain.

Linite groaned with defeat.

Oh why me?” she sighed, dropping her head.

Jonathan had barely gotten the opportunity to walk the streets to watch the parade, much to his dismay it appeared as if lots of people had arrived to watch already. If there was one thing Locke didn’t like it was crowds, big ones at that. To further top it off there was a chaos in the air which he wasn’t used to, after all this could very well have been the first major crowd he was in. Despite that fact he maintained his composure, he wasn’t one to get frightened or awed easily.

He found refuge in a small café, which already seemed to be full; it didn’t matter though, he was thirsty. He noticed a blonde woman walk in just before him, there was a way she carried himself which seemed all to familiar like that of an earth alliance officer. It was the same posture he had been raised to have, the same kind of attitude, he could sniff it out a mile away. There were other stiffs there too which screamed military to Locke but he didn’t want to jump to conclusions just yet. Calmly walking into the café he didn’t expect to gather too much attention to himself, after all he was just a kid.

There was a charge in the air, so much it seemed as if the undercover agents were obvious. A small smirk crossed his lips, Locke had been growing disdainful of the patriotism surrounding him; quietly he hoped something bad would happen, almost to the point where he felt like acting out of character himself. Deep down he knew though, it was only a matter of time; then the world would show her real colors, that of crimson blood and darkness. Walking up to the counter Locke cheerfully ordered, “I’ll take a green tea please.”  His tone oblivious to any events prior to his entrance.

Stepping out of his car Takashi reached over the seat and picked up in dress uniform's overcoat, though it wasn't overly thick Takashi hadn't decided to bring it today because of the weather.  If anything the jacket made him look a bit more professional while allowing him to conceal his weapon from the civilians who surrounded him.

Slowly he made his way through the crowds and across the street.  After a few cramped moments Kitsune finally set foor in the coffee shop and was greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.  There was something about the smell that made him relax and want to sink back into a comfortable chair, content to remain there for the whole day.  Smiling to himself he looked around and it seemed to him that nearly half of the coffee shop was occupied by ZAFT soldiers.

Moving around the shop a bit Kitsune managed to squeeze in an order for an ice coffee and after a short minute he had the beverage in his hands and was making his way towards a table.

With the shop so packed his eyes scanned around trying to find a place to sit and finally they settled upon a young blond haired woman who seemed to be frantically trying to scrub something off of her skirt, spilled coffee no doubt.  As casually as possible Kitsune made his way over to her and cleared his throat,

"I hope I'm not bothering you but I noticed that you'd spilled some coffee on yourself."  Kitsune paused for a moment and tested the air, hoping that he wasn't about to make a fool of himself.  "May I offer you my jacket until you're able to...." he struggled to find the right words "change into a spare set of clothing?"  Trying to at least pretend to be cool Kitsune stood there patiently, still holding the hot coffee cup in his hand.

Linite looked up and immediately flushed red with embarrassment as she saw the young man standing above her. At first she was slightly puzzled as to why he would offer to do something so kind as this just out of the blue; normally people would just look at you and shrug it off as something that wasn’t their problem. Despite her slight confusion, she settled on her first impression of the young man as a very kind person.

Wow…I feel so lucky right now” Linite thought to herself, realizing that she wouldn’t have to walk back to her hotel looking as red as a tomato as people stared at the anything-but-slight brown splotch on her skirt. She would have something to cover it up with if she accepted the young man’s offer.

Gently smiling with relief, Linite stood up in front of the young man. She noticed that she was quite a bit shorter than him, and had to look up a bit to talk to him.

That’s very kind of you sir, thank you so much.” She said quietly, still feeling the red in her cheeks. Trying her best to regain her composure, she introduced herself.

My name is Linite Estral; it’s a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.” She smiled warmly as she waited for his response.

Noticing the apparent Earth Alliance officer interacting with a Orb soldier was more than Locke could stomach. He quickly analyzed the situation and found a way he might be able to disarm the situation, after all he couldn’t allow fraternizing with the enemy, or potential enemies at that.

Walking up he put on his acting face and came up to the woman who had spilt her coffee on herself. “Why big sister Linite you should know better than to bother polite strangers!” He walked up from behind the Orb Soldier and quickly gave the woman a wink before she could protest; hopefully she would catch on. Both of them had blonde hair; there was no reason why they couldn’t pass as siblings. “I’ve been looking for you everywhere I was afraid I lost you in this big crowd!” He practically ignored the man offering his help to the woman.

(OOC: hope its alright if I make things more interesting, for some reason I feel like i've seen this scenerio before)
