Psycho Soldiers 2: winders & Wilhelm (Psycho Soldiers) vs Fuku & liubei013

Athena grinned, her opponent was fighting much more conservatively now that he was alone; he was no longer as aggressive as he had been, now opting to take cover as much as possible rather than lunging at either one of the Psycho Soldiers. This meant he was more suspectable to tricks and ploys over ambushes, which currently played against Athena.

 

Checking her mobile suit's energy level's quickly, she thought hard for a second before a thought struck her; silently she targeted her opponent with her vulcans while boosting back slightly, a ploy to 'draw' her opponent's attention towards her. Most pilots would see the meager attack of the vulcans as a distraction, a diversion; not so. She harrassed with her vulcans at her enemy's location; towards the buildings and the mobile suit itself in a spray style fan attack.

 

She paused her attack, boosting a little further back to uphold the veil that she was 'retreating', a couple seconds passed before she switched to her beam rifle in her left hand and fired off three shots at her opponent.

Samuel noted that the Aile began to pull back as the IWSP was still 'turtling.'  He knew he was on borrowed time being disadvantaged as he was but before he could devise a course of action, one was laid out for him as the Aile blazed away with its Vulcans at his approximate location.  He pulled around the corner just in time as the salvo of bullets rained down in a haphazard manner around the building he was taking shelter behind.  He decided to launch out as he ran up to another building and bounded off the side as he made his way close to the Aile again.  Of course, he'd never directly charge any ranged suit, especially one with beam weapons. 

 

As he got closer to the 'retreating' Aile, he saw it quickly switch its rifle back and fired a trio of beams at him.

"Shit!" he shouted as he yanked his control sticks around and stepped on the pedals hard, causing him to boost higher to avoid the beams.  The first two missed as the green lances of light streaked under him.  However, the third beam clipped his suit's left arm, completing the destruction of the half-damaged Panzer Eisen.  He immediately countered by releasing the safeties on his swords and pointed their tips at the Aile.  Then he pressed the trigger, which fired a beam from each sword straight at the Aile.

[align=center]Kula letsout a smile, and pulls the beam rifle from behind the skirt armor. She pulls her fingers off the left hand trigger, causing the gattling to stop firing. The barrels were glowing red, showing its a large amount of heat generated from the previous attack. The ammo was almost gone, leaving little to be desired about the weapon.

 

She stares at the Sword who had devoted most of its attention to the Rouge. Kula lets out a clever smile, and detaches the Gatling from the shield. It falls off and slams into the thick layer of artificial snow at its feet. Steam starts to form up to the hips of the IWSP creating a makeshift smoke screen. With a little pressure on the pedals combined with a push on the throttle. The IWSP takes to the air once again, its beam cannons and rail guns rotate and lock into a firing position.

 

The Sword Calamity fires a beam blast from its A.S. Swords toward the Aile Rouge. Kula lets out a smirk, and shakes her head while the targeting sensor moves up and flips over her eyes. "Weapon locks disabled, awaiting firing solution."  She moves her fingers over the mini triggers on her stick. Kula was going to fire the beam rifle, cannons, and rail guns at the same time. It would deplete a lot of energy, but it was worth it. Inside her heart, Kula believed that it would be sufficient enough. After all her target was the Calamity's right arm with emphasis on the right mounted Panzer Eisen. With no time to waste, Kula presses all the triggers sending a salvo of thickened beam blasts and rail gun fire from the IWSP. The energy meter drops twenty percent, leaving the suit at half of the starting charge. Kula now had a decision to make, wildly fire her cannons, or continue to do her guerrilla tactic against this melee behemoth.[/align]

As the beams shot out at the Aile, he turned just in time to see the IWSP baring its four shoulder-mounted cannons at him.  He quickly shot his Panzer Eizen at a nearby building and as soon as the blade dug in, he retracted it, causing his suit to suddenly deviate from his inteded path of movement.  It was right around this time when the IWSP opened up all of its guns.  The beams arrived first but missed his suit by only a few meters. 

 

As he approached the building, the two rail gun shots shot in.  The first shell missed but the second one hit him straight in the chest, about a meter above the barrel of the Scylla cannon.  Not only did this drain his TP armor energy significantly, it also threw him out of balance.  His suit spun crazily and he grunted as he attempted to regain control.  He disconnected the Panzer Eizen from the building but he continued to soar uncontrollably at the large, ruined structure.  He managed to get his suit to crouch in right when he smashed into the building. 

 

He gritted his teeth as he was thrown around as the suit crashed through walls and support columns somewhere around the middle of the building.  Then his suit slid to a stop as he attempted to get out of his daze.  A quick look at his HUD indicated that he did not lose any critical systems but the energy supplying his TP was approaching the red zone.  Some of his thrusters were damaged, so their output was reduced as well.    He switched off his TP system as well as his anti-ship swords as he moved toward a more concealed position...

((OOC: No worries about the lateness Liubei, we all get hung up with stuff from time to time, and yes, the Sword Calamity can use its swords like that, I've seen him do it in an OVA once.  Keep it up guys, I still see nothing that is worth commenting negatively on, so its your turn Winders.))

Thankfully she was still playing the defensive tactic, otherwise she would have been toast; continuing her boosts backwards she simply avoided the beam blasts from the anti-ship swords and found herself at pretty much unscathed apart from some debris hitting her Phase-Shift protected mobile suit. Thankfully Athena was a team member, not a lone wolf; as Kula’s quad cannons took aim, the team leader watched her target anchor himself to a wall and pull himself in towards it.

 

“Yare yare, stop hiding.” She said under her breath; quickly replacing the beam saber back into its rack and switching the rifle into the right hand of the Rouge. As her opponent moved towards the building, Athena let loose another three volley of green energy; one at the wall which she predicted he would have slammed into and two into the building itself in case she underestimated.

Samuel gritted his teeth as he weighed his options.  He double-checked his systems and realized one of his main thrusters on his left leg wasn't functioning.  A quick dianogstic indicated that it was damaged due to beam fire...most likely from that Aile.  And this match was already an uphill one after his 'teammate' got disqualified.  He excelled in close-ranged one-on-one combat and this match wasn't such.  He sighed as he had his suit hold his swords crossed high in the air as he walked out to the edge of the ruined building.  He pressed the com switch that allowed him to be heard by his opponents and the referee.

 

"To the pilots of Team Psycho Soldiers, you have my respect in the demonstration of your skills.  I concede defeat in this match," he said hesitantly as he knew he would need to train harder.
