Not just mobile suits, (Although Hajime Katoki designed some beautiful creations. There's a reason he's so well known today.) but the backgrounds and the world around the mobile suits. Many of the animation directors and background artists later worked on Cowboy Bebop, and I can see the similarities. 0083 is easily my favorite in terms of cel animation.
