But as he looked down at his opponent he realized that the Astray had already landed back on the desert sand and went behind a dune that fully covered the frame. With the left hand he pulled out the beam rifle whilst the right hand pulls out the beam saber. Pushing the thrusters forward to 60%, he guided the Murasame towards the ground close by the Astray and started to thruster left to go around the Astray with the beam rifle ready to fire at any time, ready to start and ignite the final battle. Its almost the end the thought floated through his mind as he was about to go around the last few dunes with the the finger on the rifle trigger. Janus 5 Posted October 9, 2007 Author Share Posted October 9, 2007 (edited) Janus did a quick review of what she had,'damaged knee joint, thruster heat in nineties, 2 sabers and my multibarrel left.' She didn't even think for a split second about the murasame's state before scowling "arg who the hell am I kidding?! He was advantaged from the very beginning!" She let go of her controls and chucked her orange and white helmet aside. Regaining contact with the controls she moved her unit to the right between a fairly large gap between dunes similar to the valley between mountains. As soon as her cameras viewed the Murasame with it's saber and rifle at the ready, Janus herself was exposed. Dropping all other thoughts she began a charging diagonal attack with both sabers on and CIWS firing. HHLkill3r 3 Posted October 17, 2007 Share Posted October 17, 2007 LL's alarms flared as the Murasame turned a corner with the Astray appearing from the right side of the Murasame with its CIWS blazing and both of the sabers out ready for the kill. LL spins the Murasame around to face the Astray and takes a quick lock on the Astray's left hand and shoulder and fires two rapid shots before putting his own beam rifle away and putting up the thrusters to advance to engage the Astray with his own beam saber. Janus 5 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Share Posted October 23, 2007 Janus ceased fire as soon as the murasame countered. 'Left bias', Janus analyzed in a split second. She rationally made an abrupt dodge to her right, safely out of the both beams. She landed from her jump, swiftly reverse held her saber in the left hand, and launched her unit again to just pass by the enemy's left. By then, her opponent was only just launching whilst reaching for his Type 70J. She had her right saber ready in front of her main body leveling diagonally as backup and her left horizontally parallel to the ground in line and ready to amputate both legs of her enemy. 'If he's to react, he better do it fast', Janus thought, thinking about the small distance left in between his and her charging units.
