The Coliseum is now open for business! Please leave your coats at the door and read the stickied topics! Feel free to try out any of the game modes (minus competitions). Also please note that the Coliseum is still under development, the rules are subject to change at any moment.

Please do note that the Coliseum is a battle arena. It is not a battlefield. What I'm trying to say is, it is a large stadium with props placed to mimic urban, jungle etc battles. You can fly out of the stadium to do battle. There will be live video feed back to the stadium for the spectators but please remember that the stadium exists

Rules have been slightly edited and point system has new additions, please check!

Also please greet our new Referees, they only get paid $5 a post, slave labour!

Forgot to say that a player guide has been added in the rules section, it's at the bottom

Also players will now be disqualified with 5 days inactivity, this rule is not retroactive but will begin effective immediently

A referee's handbook is up too, referee's are expected to read it and participants are encouraged to read it to get further insight

Rad has also refined the player's guide!

September 15th 2007

Minor changes have been made to the coliseum rules page.  The list of changes are listed here for quick reference:

- The point system for 1v1 matches is now optional, and must be declared as part of the initial rules of engagement.

- Time limits for participants to reply must be agreed and declared as part of the initial rules of engagement.

- Battle Order for participants in a multiplayer match are no longer fixed.  Should a change in the posting order be desired, all participants must agree to the change, as must the referee involved in the match.

I have also posted a quick RoE template for people to use when declaring the rules of engagement.  It can be found Here.  As well, should you have a formal complaint you wish to make against a referee's decision, you may now post it Here.  Remember that a referee's word is final, but mistakes can be made by the best of us.  As well, this complaint thread should be kept formal and impartial, and flaming of a referee or another member will not be tolerated.
